Hello! I am an Astrophysicist working in the field of Galactic Dynamics, Structure & Archaeology. My research is focussed on combining large scale Spectroscopic, Photometric, and Astrometric datasets, in order to understand the 3D motion of stars in the Milky Way.
Since Apil 2022, I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working with Ronald Drimmel, at the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) in Torino, Italy. Together, we are also involved with the GaiaUnlimited Project - an effort to model and apply the selection function of the Gaia survey, to various Galactic investigations.
Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Amina Helmi, at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute in Groningen, The Netherlands. In 2019, I joined the Gaia Data Processing and Analysis Consortium (DPAC), of which I am still a member. I was involved in the Statistical Validation of the 3rd data release of the Gaia survey (EDR3 & GDR3). In addition to this, I was also a core member of the Scientific demonstration papers exploring the kinematics of the Galactic disc.
I completed my PhD at the University of Sydney's Astronomy Institute (2016-2019), under the supervision of Joss Bland-Hawthorn & Sanjib Sharma. I was a member of the the GALAH spectroscopic survey, using highly precise radial velocities, and chemistry to probe the response of the Galactic disc to non-equilibrium features.
